Every plan carries the full Temples99 platform — online seva booking, QR entry, e-Hundi donations, POS counters and WhatsApp confirmations. Moving up buys you more counters and more automation, and it buys the fee on what you sell steadily down to nothing.

The cap is per item, so a ₹21,000 Poolangi Seva is never charged a proportional cut. Payment gateway charges (Razorpay, UPI, cards) are levied by the gateway on the temple's own merchant account and are not collected by Temples99.

What temples ask us first

Do you take a percentage of our donations?
No. Not on any plan, and not at any amount. A ₹100 donation and a ₹10,00,000 donation both cost the temple nothing. Only your payment gateway's own charges apply, and those are billed by the gateway on your own merchant account, not by us.
Then what do you charge a percentage on?
On what the temple sells: darshan and seva tickets, prasadam and annadanam coupons, products and guest-house rooms. The rate falls as the plan rises — 1.5% on Seva, 0.75% on Devasthanam and 0% on Kshetra — and it is capped per item, so a ₹21,000 seva is never charged a proportional cut.
What is a POS counter?
One tablet or desk where a devotee pays — a darshan ticket window, a prasadam or laddu coupon counter, a donation desk. Each plan includes a number of counters and you can add more at the rate shown on the card. A counter you open for a festival can be dropped again the month after.
When is it worth moving up a plan?
When the fee on what you sell costs more than the step up. Devasthanam pays for itself past roughly ₹5,33,000 a month across the counter, and Kshetra past roughly ₹16,00,000 — and each step also adds counters, staff logins and automation.
Is there a setup or implementation fee?
No. Onboarding, temple page setup, staff training and migration of your existing seva, ticket and donor data are free on every plan. Most temples are live within 24 hours of the kick-off call.
Where does the devotees' money go?
Straight into the temple's own bank account. Online payments settle through your own Razorpay or UPI account, and cash taken at the counter never leaves the temple. Temples99 does not hold temple funds — we record, receipt and reconcile them so the drawer and the report agree at the end of the day.
Will the counters work when the internet goes down?
Yes, on Devasthanam and Kshetra. Offline POS lets a counter tablet keep issuing tickets and coupons with no connection; the orders upload by themselves and appear in that day's settlement report as soon as the network returns.
What happens during a festival?
Add the counters you need and remove them afterwards — counters are billed per month, so a festival costs you counters for that month and nothing beyond it. There is no limit on how many devotees you may serve on any plan, so a record Brahmotsavam never blocks a booking. Our crew can also run the counters for you; see the add-ons.
Can one trust manage several temples on a single account?
Yes, on Kshetra, which includes a multi-temple trust dashboard showing collections, footfall and donor activity for every temple in one view.
Can we issue 80G donation receipts?
Yes, on every plan. Receipts are numbered and carry your trust's 80G registration details, PAN and declaration text, and reach the donor on WhatsApp and email the moment the donation is recorded — at the counter or online.
Can we move our existing data across?
Yes, and it is free. Sevas, ticket types, donation slabs and your donor register are migrated as part of onboarding on every plan. Most temples are taking digital bookings the next morning.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the rest of the billing cycle; downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
